PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU READ ALL THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION

BEFORE ORDERING.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made using either of the following methods:

  • if submitting an order by post or email, you can pay by cheque made payable to "Hugh Walkington"

  • if submitting an order direct through the website, via PayPal.

PERUSAL COPIES

If you want to peruse one of my play scripts, contact me via walkietalkdevon@gmail.com . I will be happy to send you a copy for your perusal, provided you return the script to me within 21 days in good condition. If I do not receive the perusal copy back within 21 days in good condition, you will be billed for the cost of the copy plus P & P. Perusal copies of the piano scores are not available.

PHOTOCOPYING SCRIPTS

Inside each script and piano score you will find a copyright warning telling you that you cannot photocopy pages without the authority of the publisher. Please be aware that making photocopies without the publisher’s permission is a breach of copyright. You don’t need to buy hard copies of my scripts; in return for a fee for the right to make an agreed number of photocopies, a master copy will be mailed to you.

These copies would be for use exclusively by the organisation purchasing the photocopying licence and are NOT transferable to any other organisation without my permission.

PERFORMING ROYALTIES

If you decide to stage one of my shows you will need to apply for a performing licence. The licence covers the royalties due to me as composer and publisher and protects you from any possible infringement of performing rights. You should apply for a licence before starting rehearsals. Licences are priced according to size of venue, number of performances and ticket prices. A licence application form will automatically be sent to you if you order any material from us so that you can pursue things straight away if you want to. You will be asked to give details of your proposed performances. Please send the form back to me as soon as possible so that I can let you know what your licence fee will be. The following may be helpful purely as a guide:

• A company / school mounting a production and charging for admission should expect to pay something in the region of 3 - 5% of gross box office receipts, with a fixed minimum of £40 per performance.

• A company / school mounting a production in a school hall and not charging for admission should expect to pay £40 per performance.

If you are making a video or audio recording of any performance, you need to apply for a video / audio licence. Details are on the licence application form. Remember that a video licence is purely permission given by me to record my show - remember that it CANNOT de facto give you permission to video the performers!

WalkieTalk Productions wants to ensure that your show is a success, whether it takes place in a 2,000 seater theatre or in a small school hall. Please contact me if you think that I may be able to be of further assistance with your production. I know that staging any production can be an expensive and fraught business. I will do my best to help wherever I can.
