Everyone knows the famous legend of Robin Hood (or Robin of Locksley), and his valiant struggle against the forces of oppression, led by the wicked Sherriff of Nottingham. How his band of "Merrie Men", including Friar Tuck, Little John, Will Scarlett, Alan A'Dale and Much the miller's son continuously outwitted the Sheriff and his ally, Sir Guy of Gisborne, and how Robin himself fell in love with Maid Marian.

This play reveals the truth ... that an incompetent Robin looks doomed to fail in his repeatedly bungled attempts to outwit the Sheriff, until Marian and her Jolly Damsels step in.

A rollicking musical play with catchy songs, great jokes and 43 speaking parts, many of which could be doubled. Suitable for ages 10 and up.
